Today, I'm taking you on a little adventure, a bit off our usual New Jersey beaten path. After a lovely visit with friends in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, my family and I stumbled upon a hidden gem — Klein Dairy Farm. And let me tell you, it was a discovery worth sharing, especially for those who relish a scoop of ice cream, no matter the season. Just because it’s winter, doesn’t mean you have to stop visiting farms!

The Best Ice Cream at Klein Dairy Farm

Driving to Klein Dairy Farm was scenic and relaxing, with beautiful mountains and charming towns along the way. The farm's stand welcomed us with its selection of fresh products and, most importantly, homemade ice cream!

Klein Farms makes ice cream themselves from their own cow’s milk and it’s a step above anything you will find at the supermarket. We tried the chocolate and vanilla ice cream. It was incredibly creamy and flavorful, easily some of the best we've ever had.

Besides ice cream, we picked up fresh eggs, raw milk, and delicious apple cider. I’ve tried many apple ciders sold at various farms around NJ, and this one is toward the top of the list. I highly recommend it.

Fun for the Kids, Even in Winter

Klein Dairy Farm has a simple yet inviting playground that's great for young kids. My children had fun playing there, despite the cold. It's a nice spot for them to enjoy while parents relax.

The farm in winter might not have a wide range of activities, but the unique experience of enjoying excellent ice cream in the cold is something special.

Nearby Attractions

Around Klein Dairy Farm, you'll find more to explore. The Lehigh Valley and the Crayola museum in Easton are nearby, adding options for a full day trip. The drive through the area itself is a part of the experience, with lovely rural views to enjoy.

Visiting the Farm

Visiting the farm is easy. There's plenty of free parking, and the area isn't too busy. If you're coming in winter, dress warmly, especially if your kids want to play outside.

Our day at Klein Dairy Farm was a lovely break from the norm. The combination of delicious homemade ice cream and the peaceful, scenic drive made for a great family outing.
